She doesn't know you. She doesn't like you. You will not be friends anytime soon. That is just how she likes it. Rain can be kind of hard to read and anyone who first meets her will assume she's some punk who likes to break rules and cause mischief. While she enjoys a good dose of mayhem and mischief, she actually does respect the rules given and understands that magic needs to be controlled and contained. She is an artist in both the drawing and musical sense. She loves to strum her guitar and let the world pass her by. She is intelligent, though her attitude and appearance deceive that notion. She isn't lazy and enjoys learning She doesn't like authority figures or those who try to use said authority to get what they want, especially bullies. She will not shy away from confrontation. If you manage to get on her good side, she can be as loyal an ally as they come. Biography: Rain was born to two free-thinking people (thus her name). Rather than growing up in a comfortable home setting, going to school like most other kids, her parents raised her in a traveling band. Her mother had a beautiful voice and her father played the guitar really well. Though magic ran in their blood, her parents didn't rely on it. They preferred to woo with their music than with their powers. Rain never really understood this. Why have magic if you didn't use it? As she got older, she began practicing with magic. Her older brother found out and told on her. Her parents were disappointed but didn't really do much other than scold her. They helped her along and gave her her own guitar. She would practice and eventually got really good. However, the yearn to keep doing magic called her and, on her off time, would continue to practice. Her older brother had very little aptitude for magic or for music. Their parents never said much, instead, they had him helping off stage. Jealousy reared its ugly head and he lashed out at Rain. He ratted out the fact she still continued to practice magic. Her parents were dissapointed. They sent Rain off to live with her grandparents as a sort of punishment. She went to school and found she actually kind of enjoyed it. However, she would act up in class whenever a teacher was "out of line" and got into fights. She caused trouble and the school didn't know what to do with her. While she was a trouble maker, she still had high marks in class and still was a capable magic user. The answer came in the form of an invitation. St. Fortuna's Academy. A school where she could practice her craft away from her family, away from the boundaries of everyday life. She begged her grandparents approval. Because they still loved her (and because they didn't want to deal with her much longer) they allowed her to attend.
