Senior?) 2nd year Skills: Psychology - Karla has learned a lot about the human psyche from watching Mr Stockbridge (explained in bio). She is also a prolific hypnotist and manipulator. Powers: Karla gets her powers from a (or pair of) Kree Gravity stone(s) absorbed into her body. The moonstone(s) grant her various powers and abilities including, superhuman strength, speed, stamina, durability, agility, reflexes and flight. She possesses minor molecular control power (being able to make her superhero costume "materialise" onto her body). She can make herself intangible/phase through solid objects. Her primary attack abilities stem from photokenisis powers, she can manipulate light and make blinding beams or generate blasts of photon energy from her fists. The more moonstones she possesses the more devastating her abilities are and the more her core stats increase. Brief bio: Karla's mother was a housemaid for a wealthy Mr Stokebridge. Stokebridge was a renowned psychologist and Karla learned much from just watching him. She resented growing up poor and yet SO close to vast amounts of wealth she could never truly obtain through conventional means. She began practicing tricks she learned from watching Mr Stokebridge, on his daughter, Deena. Deena was gullible and easy to manipulate and Karla used her for causing all sorts of mischief. In school, Karla started getting into trouble, goading students into fights and violence. She was sent to a psychologist, Dr Faustus, who, instead of trying to teach her to mend her ways and correct this bad behaviour, took her on as an apprentice of sorts and taught her more psychological tips and tricks and also his very effective hypnotic methods. Karla used what she learned on one of Faustus' patients, Lloyd Bloch, who possessed the moonstone. As he explained the moonstones incredible power, Karla decided she wanted it. She convinced Lloyd that the moonstone was turning him into a monster before stealing it for herself and absorbing it and it's incredible powers. Like Speed, Karla's new-found powers got her into trouble and she was quickly arrested for using her abilities to commit various petty crimes. With Faustus involved in the prosecution, she was unable to manipulate her way out and was imprisoned in a juvenile facility until SHIELD offered her a new path... She is incredibly clever and determined but is prone to manipulation and underhandedness to achieve her goals. She lusts after power and wealth and dislikes authority or being told what to do although she is willing to use others or work on a team to further her own ends. Training regimen/expertise: Karla needs to bond with her peers and foster a greater degree of empathy. She has few qualms when it comes to harming others to achieve her ambitions, but she needs to learn to take account for her actions as well. Shooting practice will continue to improve her photon-blasts and she should continue to take classes in fighting and defence. Due to her tendency to manipulate peers, we would advise she avoid developing her hypnotist abilities until she can be trusted not to use them for ill-gotten gains. Best case scenario: If Karla can be trusted to bond well with a team and obey commands, she has a valuable skill set and would operate well in both front-line combat situations as well as stealth and undercover operations. Her hypnotism and determination could prove useful in interrogating enemies of SHIELD (especially since Karla does not appear phased by the idea of using excessive force to get what she wants, although SHIELD would rather not foster this notion with Karla). Worst case scenario: Karla dislikes taking orders and is unfit to lead due to ambition and selfishness. She doesn't play well with others and unless SHIELD can foster a sense of familial bond, there is little hope she'll become a viable team member. NOTE; Karla is allergic to peanuts (and I fully intend on having Speed taunt her with a snicker bar)
