He landed on the rooftop and bent over to rest his hands upon his knees as he breathed in relief, [color=white][b]“Whew! I thought we’d never get away.”[/b][/color]

Skeets’s red eyes blinked as it took notice of the shadow that had suddenly appeared on the building ledge.

Adam whirled with his hands clenched into fists and stared upon the creepy man who had eerily crept up on him.

[b]I don't know where they've come from, but these parasitic 'Starros' are mobilizing across the nation. Will you help us?[/b]

Adam arched a brow at the dead-man-walking. [color=white][b]“How about you start by introducing yourself first before I introduce your creepy-ass to my fist?”[/b][/color]

Skeets ejected from Adam’s terminal into the air and quickly floated around to hover between him and Batman.

Adam lowered his fists and straightened from his fighting stance. [color=white][b]“Shit, you might as well tell him your serial code why you’re at it. How can you outright trust this guy?”[/b][/color] He held his hand out in Batman’s direction. [color=white][b]“Look at him! He’s fuckin’ creepy!”[/b][/color]

[color=white][b]“Oh HA HA!”[/b][/color] He pointed a thumb at himself. [color=white][b]“This handsome mug just made this dimension’s news. They’ll be screaming my name by morning.”[/b][/color]

Skeets rolled his red eye at his partner’s ego. It just wasn’t going to burst any time soon. All because of that one ridiculous incident/lie.[/color]
