Edward Carter

Edward tried to sleep after Lily left. He really did. But sleep didn't come back to him easily, and after turning restlessly on the bed for a good sleeping position, he simply gave up. Groaning, he sat himself upright and sighed deeply. Looking at the time, he realized it was fairly close to the night party - not that close, much to his consternation, but it meant that if he couldn't get any sleep now, then there was no point since he'd be getting up soon anyway. Scratching his head, he got off from the bed, and thew on his trench-coat, leaving open at the front and not really bothering to wear anything underneath; it was dark out, and his coat was thick enough that it wouldn't be cold, and in case his chiseled abs affected anyone's sensitive sensibilities [s](coughLilyandHinakocough)[/s] he could always just button it up. He walked out and decided to get some fresh air before the party. It never occurred to him that it had been scarcely five minutes since Lily left, and that he would catch up to her quite quickly. As such, he managed to catch sight of the entire debacle between her and Odette, starting with the dragon-girls high-pitched 'Kyaaaaa~!' So, from the wall that he held his back to, he remained hidden from the two girls, not willing to interrupt them, but at the same time curious enough to not leave. He had to stifle a sigh at Lily's actions - the girl was so high-strung that it worried him a bit, not in the least because, if nothing else, he'd be sharing a room with her for pretty much his entire time here at Pakora. "Yo, Lily, Odette, long time no see," he said, nodding at the both of them as he stepped out of the shadows and casually waved at the two. "I hear a 'Kyaaa' and came here. What happened?" Technically true - he did come here because of a certain someone made an adorable high-pitch squeak of fright. He also deliberately placed emphasis on the Kyaaa part, while at the same time acting oblivious as tho who was the one behind it.
[@Hammerman] [@Rune_Alchemist]
