Darric heard Sonny and he stepped out of the room and closed the door softly so he didn't wake Paige. When he turned around he was not in the best of moods. The rage in his eyes was a warning to Sonny.

No more having to pretend to care about criminals that would ordinarily make her want to strike them dead."[/color] Darric gave off a dangerous tension as he said [color=0076a3]"And no, she was tested every month or so for STD's. That murdering bastard got her pregnant. Mike just performed the abortion."[/color]

One of the kids appeared and Darric stopped clenching his jaw. [color=0076a3]"Yes, these two are from the cathedral cult. We will be getting them home soon." [/color]

Darric motioned to the child as he knelt down and she came over and wrapped her arms around his neck and cried. Darric hugged the child til she pulled back. Darric looked at the girl's face. She couldn't have been more than 8 years old. She looked broken and sad.

Darric tried to be reassuring to her. [color=0076a3]"I am not sure yet but we will find a good and safe place for you ok? Don't be scared. You are safe now."[/color] He let her hug him again. When she ran off to the other room he stood up and glared at Sonny. 

[color=0076a3]" I'm warning you now. Do not mention the abortion to Paige. Do you have anymore smartass things to say?"[/color]
