[@Sorrelmyst] In all fairness, she doesn't have to even necessarily have a registered mental illness here. The entire idea of split personalities is an old trope, and tropes [i]are[/i] meant to be used. Part of me says you shouldn't put a label on it, and just roll with the idea. Most real mental illnesses are very difficult to portray accurately, though I do think they can be used if you play them straight. That being said, this is a world with talking apes, cyborg ninjas, and sentient robot buddhists. Someone who zones out when it's time to kill isn't super out there, and if you avoid calling it a real mental illness no one is misrepresented. She could say it's totally the other "personality" as a means of avoiding personal guilt and shame, for example. It's still her, she just doesn't believe it. Just my two cents :T
