It wasn't Yumi's first time speaking with King Kai, but it was her first time seeing him. What a weird guy, all blue and dressed in some rather old styled clothing. For someone who was supposed to be omnipotent and revered practically as a god he wasn't the most imposing figure either. Honestly it had her amused, she'd expected a lot more out of this man and had been disappointed as a result. Shu seemed to be unnerved enough, taking refuge behind her for whatever reason. He was rather timid when it came to new things, so it was only normal for him to do that. But around someone like this? Hard to believe that he trained the Z Fighters all those years ago, he definitely didn't look like a fighter. Putting an arm around the young Saiyan securely she smiled, letting T'charrl do the talking for the time being. Unfortunately for them it became apparent fairly quickly that Goku wasn't present, at least by what King Kai was telling them. Odd since she figured that the Prince would have contacted Goku directly instead of doing something like this. Maybe he had made a mistake? "So you are a descendent of them... Interesting, very interesting," King Kai mused, rubbing at his chin thoughtfully. Kaesstrians had gone a few hundred years without doing anything like this, and he had honestly given up on hearing from them ever again. In a way it had kind of been nice, there was always so much traffic when they were communicating with the dead. The reason for why they had suddenly stopped was lost to him, and it was too far away really to pick up on any powers, only just close enough to be able to communicate. Kai made a mental note to look into it later, now he was curious as to what had gone on once more. "Great Sir...? Did you just call me 'Great Sir'?" Snorting with laughter King Kai quickly covered his mouth, shaking his head before beaming at T'charrl amused. "Well there's something I'm never called! Though I've got to say that it's nice to hear some politeness for a change. Because SOME people on this planet could use with a little courtesy!" "I don't suppose that someone would be me, would it King Kai?" The voice wasn't one they immediately recognized, though King Kai most certainly did. Again the man looked off screen, becoming rather uneasy at whomever was speaking to him. The sound of someone approaching carried through the window and as they closed in the blue man scurried away, leaving the screen empty for a moment. Eventually another figure stood in the shot, a Saiyan with widow's peak hair. He was a great bit older than everyone else present, and wore a blue set of training gear with white gloves and boots to match. Vegeta Jr stared at the screen dumbfounded, his eyes wide as he saw just who had come to join them. That was his great-grandfather, the man whom he was named for. He'd never seen him before, and looking at Vegeta now the resemblance between them was uncanny. "Who are these children supposed to be?" Vegeta asked, his brow pulling together as he looked at the group on the other side curiously. Setting his gaze on T'charrl he blinked a few times, not sure what to make of what he was staring at. "And what in the hell are you supposed to be? I've never seen one of your kind before. You look like an Arlian though... Except I killed all of them..." "He's a Kaesstrian, uh... Vegeta," Takeshi replied, smiling meekly as he spoke up. So that was the guy he used to idolize, kind of cool. When the focus shifted on him he became a bit nervous, shifting uneasily as the other Saiyan seemed to be waiting for him to go on. "He's uh... A moth... Person kind of thing. I don't know, but he's not an Arlian, we know that much. Besides, does it matter what he is?" "No, no it doesn't matter. What matters is that some punks decided to interrupt us while we were training, that is a problem." Vegeta crossed his arms, sniffing unamused as he looked at the group before him. As he did so his eyes stopped on Vegeta Jr, and for a second he thought he was staring into a mirror. In a bit of disbelief he blinked silently, his neck craning slightly as he slowly processed just what he was seeing. Who in the hell was that then? "Uh... Hello... Great Grandfather," Vegeta Jr said, rather meekly. "Sorry to bother you, but we sort of need some help. Or rather, Goku's help. So... If you don't mind could you tell us where he is?" Looking at the older man hopefully he cringed as the Saiyan groaned, worried that they had upset him in some way, which they had. "My own kin contacts me from the world of the living, and he wants to speak to Kakarot instead?" Vegeta snipped, huffing under his breath as he turned his head away. What an indignation to have the remnants of his lineage favor that man over him, it just wasn't right. After a moment of brooding he looked back at the group, smiling faintly as he lowered his arms, pointing off towards the right side of the screen. "That moron took his children on a run down Snake Way, so he's been gone for a little while. If you're looking for him I'm afraid you're out of luck. Unless you can wait, I'll drag him back here if it's important."
