The waiting birthed a slow and increasing impatience. He contemplated whether he had chosen the wrong hangar. Looking around precariously, he hoped to find someone that could point him towards the correct location. *Bleep Bleep, Bleep Bleep* The scroll within Onyx's pocket alerted him to a delivered message. He rummaged around for a short period in his pocket before pulling out his scroll. Focusing his gaze towards the screen, he pressed his finger upon the 'read message' icon. The message from Captain Odell read: "It's time to go. Rendezvous outside, near the VTOL. Can't miss it." Can't miss it. Onyx grunted. Onyx slung his scroll back into his pocket. Captain Odell wasn't precise to the whereabouts of the rendezvous location. He would have to be hasty in order to catch up to his team at the VTOL outside- wherever this location outside would be. With an expeditious stream of ideas, he made his way to the courtyard of the fort. Onyx stared up at the coned roof of the fort's bastion, he figured that gaining the high ground would help to find the rendezvous location. After he focused momentarily on the rooftop, his form suddenly faded into a grey smoke that evaporated seconds later. Grabbing onto the spire of the roof, Onyx examined the area around Fort Beacon. He soon found the VTOL that Captain Odell spoke of and saw the distant figures of his teammates around the VTOL. He felt alive with adrenaline as he leapt off the rooftop. The force of the air ruffled his clothing vigorously and pulled back the hood from over his head. Onyx teleported once again before he hit the ground, and gracefully reappeared near the VTOL. The faint spirals of smoke drifted from his body until becoming unperceivable. Onyx transitioned his line of sight towards his teammates around him before stopping his eyes at Captain Odell. He pulled the hood back over his head to hide his unkempt bush-like hair. An apology about his earlier behaviour found it's way into his conscious. Although he wouldn't have the nerve to apologise in public. He felt it would scorn his pride, make him feel weak and submissive; that wasn't something he could afford to feel. Instead, he turned away from Captain Odell and positioned himself at a more suitable distance as he waited for others to arrive.
