[i]Day 5:First Hunting Group: Of hearts and Minds[/i]

The air of the forest wafted pleasantly against his green skin, as Zectoll stalked though the shadows of the forest with Skubli and the new comers who had accompanied them. Being together in the forest with such a band reminded him of his first hunt, and the excitement he felt that day. The memory was bittersweet, he would not allow himself to become so attached to these new goblins, not until they proved themselves as lasting members of the cave. 

Soon enough, the group encountered some prey. Zectoll eyed the quarry, his mind pondering the coming kill. This would be easy enough, as they had both superior numbers and the element of surprise. It did not matter to Zectoll the state in which his prey existed, they would all fall under goblin hands. Though his mind did drift to the words of Goblin Stegs. The two pregnant females would likely die without the protection of the Alpha, easy prey for the other beasts of the forest. Within the two pregnant horned rabbits grew more rabbits, more meat. [color=orange]Goblins like Kishi and Stegs, free to study pursuits other than death...hmm[/color] Certainly, it was more fitting for a goblin to eat meat than mere plants, suddenly Zectoll had an idea. 

[color=orange]We will kill the Alpha and the guardian female without mercy..yes, but the two pregnant females we shall attempt to capture alive. So that Goblin Stegs and the others can devise a way for us to benefit from the production of rabbit flesh in the long term. Certainly we could learn much from such an endeavor.[/color] Zectoll whispered to the rest of his party, gripping his medium horn, and readying his fang fist. [color=orange] Goblin Tsuku and I will attack first slaying the Alpha and the guardian. Goblin Skubli and Yan-Took shall strike while their attention is on us. We will focus on killing the Alpha and the guardian female first, then we will do our best capture the two pregnant females alive. Do your best, but do not stake your life on their capture...your lives are much too precious to the cave.[/color]

Zectoll then took up position to attack the group of rabbits. After everyone is in place, Zectoll shall emerge from his hiding place, beginning the engagement by attacking the Alpha horned rabbit with [b] Savage Strike[/b], aiming to take the creature down quickly by taking it by surprise.
