Her hair reacted slightly to the static charge as the spell built up in power. She didn’t have time to react to the lightning once it was released, allowing the attack to strike her dead center in the chest, causing an explosion of lights upon impact. She let out a grunt and forcefully stopped in her tracts. Her magical barrier had taken a tremendous hit from that single attack. She knew that she had severely underestimated her opponent. She let out a grin at him. “Guess you aren’t disappointing after all,” she remarked. “But I have a similar trick up my sleeve.” She held out her own left hand, which glowed majestically. Unlike him she made no efforts of trickery. A glowing bolt left her hand as fast as an arrow and twice as deadly.
