--DESCRIPTION: Griffins are dangerously protective of its young. Many wary travelers fall prey to the Griffin because they unknowingly impede on its breeding grounds during mating season - a griffin can fly for many tens of miles, so it's breeding grounds can stretch for miles as well. 
The Griffin is by nature aggressive and will rip a man to shreds with its talons or worse yet, grab a man by the arms, fly into the air and drop him from great heights.
