The reliability of these parts are questionable, and are less fitting for combat and other strenuous activity than actual human tissue most of the time. After all, they were built to stop a disease, not to win competitions or win a fight. One part with actual utility besides replacement is the CPU unit that occupies a resected area of her brain, the 6NR-5. After all, while humans are best at emotions, machines are best at logical thought. Auguste has superior analyzing skills and reflexes, despite lacking the proper body to take advantage of it. Deusa Ex Machina - A variant on the manipulation of metals and, to some extent, pure energy. Telekinetically, Auguste can put into assembly simple to complex contraptions from available metals within her vicinity, and supply it with the pure latent energy stored within her if no power source is available. The machines range from simple digger drills to complex computers, and from robotic arms to missile launchers. The ability "used to be" limited by her knowledge on the structure of the machine being built, but the 6NR-5 has made it possible to quickly take them into memory. The only current real limitations to Auguste's power is either the required energy, which may not be a problem most of the time as her energy pool is fairly large, the latent energy being only available for contraptions Auguste made herself, or the condition of her body which poses a threat to her mobility and her health. Personality: Auguste's mind consists of two parts, her original thought and her 6NR5 assistant-slash-brain lobe replacer unit. Both of them are typically integrated together as one personality. Occasionally however, 6NR5 may also express its own thoughts under the condition that it continues to follow Auguste's directive as an extension of her brain while also permitted to be its own being at times. Auguste's brain on its own cannot express itself, since the removal of a big chunk of it prevents so without a massive reduction of IQ needed to coherently communicate thoughts. It is difficult, however, to tell the difference between whether it is Auguste "herself" or it is 6NR5 speaking, since they are both rather similar in many aspects. Both of them are rather silent unless spoken to, and rarely speak on their own. Both express a deep curiosity about many things-- although 6NR5 has it more defined, even going to further lengths as to personally inspect them when it shouldn't. Both are well intelligent-- though this is kind of cheating when Auguste shares her intelligence with 6NR5. Both also tend to use robotic terms too often. The key differences are that 6NR5 usually appears making (and searching for anything to make) advice with others, that Auguste often, if not always speaks "make your word" before 6NR5 appears, and that Auguste more often than not is the one creating her own machines and engaging in fights than her assistant. Background: Auguste was a weapon of war, utilized to manufacture arms during a period of insurgency in her town of birth. Without any recollection of family, the girl has always recalled spending much of her past life within the warehouses and camps of her faction, her natural fascination for machines doing much of the work. It's a grim life for a child, many say, but a satisfying one nonetheless for Auguste. Production went full swing when her powers emerged, and she became a certified secret of the faction for years until the war ended when she was 14, in a surprise defeat for her group after a sabotage crushed their facilities while they were celebrating their continuous victories, forcing their surrender. Auguste's main purpose then shifted to working on an AI unit she'd been designing since the last few months before the end of the conflict. 6NR-5 was envisioned to be an entirely new companion of her own, designed for capability of human thought, human sympathy, and human empathy. Small failures, big failures, and small successes met her project, but she was nowhere near done when her health began to deteriorate at the age of 16, gripped by an unknown disease. Her organs failed. Her brain, and consequently her mind, began to decay. She was still determined to complete her AI project, and to do so, she had to live. She saved 6NR-5's data, repurposed her current unit, and began an automated surgery on herself, resecting and substituting every diseased organ she had including a part of her brain. Sooner or later while at work, Auguste found herself reading an invitation to Pakora and immediately at once set off for the academy under the suggestion of 6NR5. Whether this letter was for her actions on her town, by her natural talent, or by chance, she has yet to figure out.
