Raniero watched on as the half-naked Daisuke(?) seemed to hold a rather brief conversation with Jakki, though evidently there was significantly less talking from the female part, before being dragged off by Mr. Bologna. The pale young man didn't hear much of the conversation, given his distance from the speakers, but he could absolutely swear that the male half of the conversation shouted something like 'good luck in karate' and 'be nice to my younger self' after giving a standard departure message. But that couldn't have been what he had said, right? Daisuke just moved here, so he wouldn't have had time to learn of Jak's participation in the Karate Club. With that knowledge in mind, the brain-damaged young man came to the conclusion that that most definitely was not Daisuke, just some creeper who looked like him. "Time travel nonexistent. Like special rainbow fire. Likely just a creeper," Rani thought aloud to himself before putting his hand to his chin in thought, "Wait. No. Time travel nonexistent now. In future, perhaps. Magic fire still implausible. Definitely just coma dream." He plucked a wilted rose from the patch, something to compare his garden at home to, and began to hobble towards Jak and David, the latter of which seemed to have approached the former after the odd male was forcibly dragged off and Rani was musing to himself. Maybe he was getting answers just like Rani intended to do. Unfortunately, it seemed that he had decided to approach them too late, as before he got there the two had decided to run off. Rani put his hand to the electrode device on his neck. He still had 15 minutes, and if he overclocked his implants he could definitely catch up to them. "...No. Not now," he affirmed, deciding that doing so wouldn't be a proper course of action. "Will ask later," Raniero nodded, "definitely." He looked down to the dead flower he was turning in his hands before turning on his heel and bumping into Cyril, who was apparently directly beside him. Oops. "Sorry," Rani said, despite the fact it was him sitting on the ground, after having been knocked off balance.
