I've managed to scrape something together, although the lore will likely need some work. Aslan will flaunt anything and everything that screams 'I look good and you don't', often (but not always) frequenting the fashionable fad among nobles that is late 18th century clothing. His favourite outfit is an elaborately patterned coat, waistcoat and breeches dyed in rich purples and crisp silver. The white wigs paired with the clothing, however, he believes can all be jettisoned into The Black where they belong. Often, he'll tearfully subject himself to cheaper, far less extravagant clothing should it be for more comfort or to sneak out of the house and blend in with the lower classes. Worn jeans, faded shirts and low hats are his usual apparel for this.

Persona
Scholarly * Articulate * Passionate * Ambitious * Charming * Talkative Personality: Whether it be a person, a clay sculpture, a charcoal sketch or a particularly well-shaped leaf, Aslan is a lover of anything and everything beautiful. Mentioning a fascination with visual aesthetics is quick to open both his heart and his mouth, making him an easy target for those seeking information or wanting to nestle closer to the higher-ups. A talkative and flirtatious art fanatic, Aslan Yılmaz is the type of person to change the topic of a conversation over and over, with no warning, whenever he gets bored. He's quick to leave a jovial, borderline childish first impression to whomever he may meet regardless of class due to his sheer talkativeness and enthusiasm. However, this conversational side of him is seldom present whilst his family are nearby-- the pressure to be perfect has him tight-lipped, well-behaved, only speaking when spoken to. Weighed down with too many lessons, stern glares and unrealistic expectations, Aslan has no one his age around to talk to about his insecurities. And so, he studies. Every day, every night, he studies. Accounting. Philian history. Then Latin. Maybe a bit of painting. How to pronounce 'Worcestershire'. How to tell if your second cousin is being nice or if he actually poisoned the tea he brought you to take your land. More painting. Underneath everything, however, he's a free spirit who likes art and meeting new people (preferably in lower classes; they're less likely to know who he is). Self-Image: Disapproving glances from tutors and hushed whispers of uncles and aunts who think you can't hear can really affect how one looks at themself, Aslan managed to find out the hard way. Despite an entire decade of strict homeschooling, he feels wholly unprepared for the future. Constant stress over not being good enough wears him down to the point where he feels like he's perpetually on the verge of a breakdown. Whilst Aslan doesn't necessarily hate himself, he firmly believes that he should be much better than he is. Going against the ones in charge, no matter how many you have fighting on your side, is a death wish. The resource and technological difference is incredible, not to mention the fact that a large portion of the lower classes are already on the verge of death as it is. Please don't get the wrong idea-- I'd like nothing more than to kick Holier-than-thou Albert's face in. But, just because I want to do it, doesn't mean it'll turn out good for me in the end. History: Aslan had known all his life that he was born as 'the back-up plan'. The Yılmaz family was very much the stereotypical noble family-- having children not to care for, but to have someone to dump their money onto when the day came that they couldn't use it themselves. An elitist family with a rather negative view on the lower classes, Aslan was born soon after his eldest and only sibling, Akshita. His mother and father were getting old and frail; Akshita was to succeed them and rise to the title of minister, inheriting most of the Yılmaz fortune and overseeing the land containing and encompassing New Cardiff, Georgia's capital city. Aslan was just... there. He was the back-up plan. But he had no complaints. Born and raised in a lavish lifestyle, he had a marvelous childhood of relaxation and luxury. Not much was expected from him-- though he was conceived solely to make absolutely sure there would be an heir, he received surprisingly little preparation to fill an occupation. He would receive a smaller sum of the family fortune and perhaps live with his sister for most of his life, not having to worry about anything. Maybe he could even be governor, if he was bored enough. Then, a year before Akshita was to be minister, she died. Leaving Aslan - horribly unprepared, back-up plan Aslan - to take her place. Understandably, the household was in a rush-- Aslan had spent most of his life lazing around, trying on outfits, drawing on anything he could find. What good is a politician who knows nothing of politics? His birthday was fast-approaching, and his parents are only getting older. How could they possibly turn a child like him into a government official and an acceptable nobleman? By cramming nearly two decade's worth of study into one, and hoping for the best.
