Lark laughed weakly and shook his head. "Pij's soul was exterminated by the red-coated devil. There's no way to bring her back, and without her, my soul has nothing binding it to this world. I'll die soon. But not before I help [i]you,"[/i] Lark announced. He looked to Vale. Vale looked at him, and then looked away. Lark creased his brow. Vale peered back over and shrugged. "Damien."

	"What?!" He shouted.

	"Tell them," He ordered. Vale frowned and rolled his eyes.

	"Sera's Ki absorption device can't be reversed, but the king knew where they might've been hiding out. I can take you there to find Sera," Vale admitted.
