Alice [@EmzyOfNeverland] Alice stepped into the car with her brother as they head to the club. As they drive away, a limousine pulls up to the castle and Alice glances back to see her mother and Sasha step out, back from their trip to Austrailia. Alice wasn't one for traveling, last time she was out of the castle for more than a month she suffered a minor heart attack. The thought of it brought back the fresh memory of Victor's recent words. She clenched her fist and looked out the window. Sarah [@Legion02] "Oh same old, although Alice is more frequent with her... visitors. And I'm left to clean up after them." Sarah sighs at the last words in the sentence but tries to hold back any cold tone. She holds up the book she was reading earlier facing the cover of "Pride and Prejudice" to Victor. "I've been reading a lot more to distract myself. So I can't say that I'm totally miserable here." She flips through the pages and stops when she sees one of her favorite lines and starts to recite it. “You may only call me "Mrs. Darcy"... when you are completely, and perfectly, and incandescently happy.” She slows on the word "happy", as if it was foreign to her. She closes the book that contained a life she longed for and looks up at Victor. "But I'm fine really, it's the friendly faces like yours that keep me from sulking around here." Sarah beams as she closes her book.
