Kali pretty much shoveled the whole thing into her mouth though she had immediately regretted the action. It was a fair bit and the texture had made talking rather difficult. She also wished she had taken her time to enjoy the meal. She hadn't expected for it to taste as good as it did, but the deed was done. Finally swallowing it down she let out a content sigh. The cave itself was unique and differed greatly from the outside. It was a lot more dim though vision wasn't too bad and it felt a little more chilly compared to being outside. Kali went ahead to get ready by keeping herself further away but in range to heal. Joan had gone ahead to follow Alakai though he too kept some distance knowing he'd have to wait until Alakai picked up full aggro or else he could easily steal the attention and get hurt. The crabs scuttled over to Alakai immediately trying to crush him with his claws. The first hit he had taken as surprised Kali because it was a lot more damage than she had expected for them to deal. Healing him quickly she watched Joan and the others get to work as the crabs health began to disintegrate. Finally slaying the first crab, Joan couldn't help but shout with excitement as he stepped on the corpse. his voice had echoed throughout the cave however the crabs hadn't noticed. Kali however was feeling the strain of it. It was only a couple of crabs however the damage they had dealt had taken a good quarter of her mana. Which meant they would have to go a bit slower or careful. Or they could pull a big amount, but she would need time to regenerate. "We should be careful about how many we pull," she mentioned over to Alakai though it was probably obvious that he knew it as well.
