Blake made a sheepish sort of expression, obviously now regretting having told his sister about their plans. "Yeah, uh, I'll talk to Zach about it later." As it turned out later, their discussion was mostly about how to sneak out of the house so that Izzy wouldn't notice. A task easier said than done, as Izzy's previous experience sneaking out over the last few months had made her keenly aware of the best methods and routes to take out of the house, and she was able to catch them every time. And there were more than a few attempts. After the about the third time, any pretense of Izzy tagging along was dropped, and it became clear that she was trying to keep them in the house. This went on for a full two days, as the 23rd and the 24th rolled over. Whenever Zach or Blake went out, they were supervised. It was hell on Izzy to have to keep up with them and their buddies, but it was important work. She heard more rumors about the so-called werewolf from their friends. It seemed that there had been more people attacked, and the rumor was spreading considerably. Still no one dead, but considering the strength and speed of the White Wolf, it was likely only a matter of time before one of these altercations went too far. All the better reason to keep tabs on her brothers. Even if she couldn't stop the police or some other vigilante from risking their life against the White Wolf, she could protect her brothers. Eventually her parents finally got a day off, on the 25th. She explained to them her brothers' plans to track down the supposed Werewolf, and they took over her duties of making sure they stayed on house arrest until the situation was dealt with by the proper authorities. They refused to share any details of the matter with Izzy, but she could just about guess that she herself knew more about the situation than them at that point. In any case, a day off for her parents was a day off for her. She decided to pick up on a duty that she had so far neglected for that week, and set off on her bike to the abandoned school. She hadn't fed the vampire child for well over a week, and given that he saved her life just a few days ago, he more than deserved it. Rather than at midnight, Izzy rode out around twilight, enjoying the warmth of the summer sunset. Perhaps by arriving earlier she could keep out of Riley's way. Hopefully he would be out and about, trying to track down the White Wolf. Arriving at the school, however, she was greeted by a most peculiar sight. It seemed that her intuition had been very off for the past week. Lounging on his usual arrangement of desks and chairs on the second floor was Riley, as expected. However, as she looked more closely, she saw that he was actually passed out, sprawled out completely. He looked ragged, tattered, and worn out. He picked his head up at Izzy's arrival, and greeted her casually, trying to keep up his usual composed demeanor. However, the effort of sitting up seemed to be painful for him, and he looked thoroughly tired. His aloha shirt was practically shredded, and scratches were visible in the flesh underneath. He was visibly limp and emaciated. The first time Izzy had seen him weakened since she had met him a few months prior. "Hmmm, figured you'd come around soon. Was hoping I'd be more recovered by then. Used up my miraculous wonder bandage on you. A real shame."
