Odell Fuchs
"You didn't listen at all back there huh?" Odell wasn't too surprised. There was always that one guy anyway... "We're headed to Mountain Glenn, as I said in the briefing." The VTOL began to take off, following the armored company at a rapid pace. The first few miles inland would be uneventful for the most part, as scouts already confirmed there was no grimm activity near Beacon. There was little contact with the Grimm until the mountains grew quite visible. A sizable horde Grimm started to move towards the armored mechs, so this was their time to play support. The VTOL touched off near the armored mechs, dropping the team off and flying back to Beacon to refuel. "Alright. Just make sure the Grimm don't get close enough to the mechs to cause trouble. The mechs will lay down covering fire, but don't expect them to save you in a pinch. If anything, they're more likely to blow you away along with the Grimm if it comes to that." Odell then ran towards the front of the armored formation, readying his battleax for first contact. The horde was mixed with various types of grimm- Ursa and Beowulfs made up the frontline, while some death stalkers trailed behind. It was almost as if they knew the mechs would blow up the Death Stalkers if they got into range. Despite the constant suppressive fire the mechs laid down, grimm were managing to dangerously close to the mechs. If they got too close, it would be over in a matter of minutes. A Beowulf attempted to leap over Odell, probably hoping to ignore him and attack the armored division. Unfortuantely for the Grimm, Odell grabbed it by the leg, slammed it to the ground, and swiftly brought his axe down on the Beowulf. First Blood went to him. Well, if he didn't count the mech pilots of course. As Odell began slicing through multiple grimm, he wondered how the others would hold up. This would be a trial by fire..
