What does it run on tho. Its a cool concept, dont get me wrong, but if its in a mobile suit and it runs 0/24, it needs a mobile power source capable of powering it. Plus it would create a shitton of heat. 

I am all for rule of cool, but either this like cloaking, where its possible but for a short duration (like activating this for a second or two when you spot a minigun so you can very quickly duck into cover and sustain minimal damage), or its a secret technology for high ranking officers and real veteran warriors.
