Dan is estranged from his family, he enlisted in the Army at 17, six months after his older brother passed away in a car wreck that was Dan’s fault. He was engaged and set to be married when his fiancée called the wedding off, she had been pregnant with their child and miscarried and it tore them apart. He throws himself into his work, there isn’t a better man to protect you.
