I dont think the reviews are [b][i][u]awful[/u][/i][/b] I think the general consensus is that its an above average game but ultimately a disappointment to the franchise.
Most of the reviews seem to put it somewhere around 7/10


Plus  I'd be genuinely interested to see where this was reported and how true it is. I mean unless they've literally put a game crashing glitch on the skin tone slider then I cant see how making a custom white male would be impossible. I'd also be interested to know if the narrative is that Bioware somehow did this on purpose because they hate white males (but not enough to not make the default main character a white male).


But to be clear, yeah I think the game is a bit lame too, and I'm not for a second saying everyone who dislikes the game is right wing or something. It really seem like most of these 'redpilled' critics don't even play mass effect.
