Well, the people who are involved, as well as myself, have answered so there's no need to put off the decision any farther.  While I can accept your character and put him in the guest list, the option we'll be going with is option number 3.  This will help even things out and minimize disturbance in the roster.  If there's an opening later on (say, someone's character dies and they're so displeased they don't want to continue) you'll be the first to know, and can join the Crucible as a spectator.  Sorry, but you did apply to an RP that was technically 1 over capacity.
