The magierprinz flinched as Eith suddenly leaped onto the figure, the demoness following through with a tackle and Luna seeming equally surprised as she cast a cantrip.

The figure though seemed completely unaffected as she simply warped to the window and jumped out of it.  That meant that the woman had set off the trap intentionally when she had arrived at the bedside ... why?  It was rather obvious that with that sort of magical capacity that she would be aware of that alarm.  [color=gray]"She woke us up on purpose.  I'm not sure what they mean to do, but it would have been easy for her to have slain us ..."[/color]  Was it a warning of some sort ...?

Either way, this would be a bad time to let them escape. A spell fired and the noblewoman had warped to that location behind the assailant, Selvina opening her tome and unleashing the divine muzzle on their attacker.  It was intended for Eith in case she went mad, but hopefully it would have a similar effect on their attacker?
