He flashed her a smile as he reached for a tie, holding similar thoughts to Aloise, aside from his best friend, he'd more or less hoped to avoid anyone or anything related to the Altsoba massacre as possible, he couldn't help but feel a sinking feeling at the fact she was in the same place they were. "Doing just fine, Sera, good to see you." He said politely when she asked how he was, taking a few moments to do up his tie. This was just about the only skill he still used from his old work. His life as a journalist had been fairly dull, at least, dull in comparison to the kind of life he lived now. Travelling around, snatching up supernatural objects of worth to peddle off, and occasionally helping Aloise hunt down some creature which was around, it wasn't exactly a step up, but it was certainly something that meant editing a press release or conducting interviews was fairly unecessary. Moving over toward the door once his tie was done up, Liam raised an eyebrow as the younger woman ran up to hug Sera, only to explain that someone on one of the other floors had dropped dead. "Oh good, why does this happen all the time when we go somewhere?" He asked Aloise in a manner of casual exasperation.
