He'd heard all of it before, he'd gone through most of the journal himself, and the two of them had needed to deal with plenty of the monsters and creatures detailed in the book before. It had become so very commonplace for the two of them, that Liam often actually forgot how limited the average person's knowledge on the supernatural was, in many cases you still had to make quite the effort to learn about the supernatural, or work for O.M.E.N. - not that such a job ever appealed to him, certainly. Unfortunately, as Aloise made clear enough to Sera, supernatural beings weren't exactly easy to track down or work out, often they were similar in a number of different ways, and it made actually tracking them down and knowing what weaknesses to exploit could often be a pain. With different kinds of ghosts, plenty of different flesh-eaters, and as she'd said, many, many types of immortal beings, being a hunter wasn't exactly the easiest job in the world, as he'd learned pretty easily from his time with Aloise. He generally expected there to be a reasonable amount of time learning about a creature before they took off after it, although, it seemed that very much was not going to be the case this time as he saw Emmie speak up and Aloise moved to grab her stuff. Letting out a slight sigh of frustration, Liam, out of instinct really, moved to grab his own gun. "Wait up a second!" He called, but Aloise had already gone off out of the room, Liam swearing under his breath as he loaded his pistol and grabbed a few spare mags to tuck into his belt holster, slipping past Emmie and Sera after his friend. Aloise had protected him during the Altsoba massacre, and although he'd never really made the promise out loud, Liam had somewhat taken it upon himself to ensure she too remained safe in their time together, it was one of the reasons it was almost impossible to separate the two, regardless of differences, and it was the main reason he still stuck around when the two of them were usually running into such danger.
