The man watched Joshua warily as he told his story, frowning, unsure. But when Joshua nearly collapsed, he realized that if this was a ruse, it was a pretty damn good one. He quickly holstered the gun, and went to Joshua, gripping the other man's arm. "Easy, fella." He made sure Joshua made it to a sitting position, so he wouldn't be injured if he passed out. "There are some real pieces of work in this town. S'why I stay way over here, outta their way." He frowned, looking around. "I ain't no doctor, but I think you got a concussion. You ain't supposed to sleep... so don't." While he was willing to help this man, he was unsure about what he could actually do for him.
