[@DepressedSoviet] i like the idea of countries being siblings if they have similar origins, i also like the idea of former colonial nations being the children of their former overlords. If it's just a new country formed out of someone else's lands then no there shouldn't be any attachment.

I was thinking that the united states' parents would be England and France, as would be Canada's, Japan would be a very distant cousin to China and England would be Norway's kid, those are just the ideas i cane up with, we'll see what ends up happening in that area.

If we're doing WW1, then we'll probably have to start before the war, like 1913 or around that, just so we can start off before everyone hates each other.
