And you know that "I have a life" excuse everyone loves? I know the dirty secret behind that - it's actually a load of crap. Unless you work 16 hours a day, you have enough time to write. I have a life too; I work 8 hours a day at my call center job, 40 hours a week, 54 hours during mandatory overtime periods. My breaks are 10 minutes long and lunch is 30 minutes. Since I have to be there at 8:30 and it takes half an hour to get there, and it takes me an hour to get ready for work, I wake up at 7. Shift ends at 5 and getting back takes half an hour, so when I get home, I have 5.5 hours to myself (assuming 8 hours sleep). I can whip up a solid post in 10 minutes if I know what I'm doing, half an hour if it's really difficult. I'm not some fat slob waiting in his parent's basement for you people to entertain me. Outside of work, I'm an avid gamer, who enjoys The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, and World of Tanks. I have a few close friends who I regularly communicate with via Skype. Sometimes, I even find the motivation to write my novelization of The Faraway Land. I have a life too, and I can post 3-4 times a day (or more) with the right motivation. So this "I have a life" excuse is really just a load of crap. You can post if you really want to.
