Kabal had begun to lose interest in the child, who was unwilling to divulge any more info than a false act of innocence. Maybe it would work on a typical person, but Kabal had spent far too much time in Chaosrealm to simply take things at face value. However, things escalated quickly, as a bullet landed a short distance away from him. He turned his head to catch sight of a man with a sniper rifle of sorts. 

Before the man would have the chance to blink, Kabal darted forward at him, turning to slam his shoulder into the aggressor at supersonic speed. He intended to take whatever weapons he had telepathically with the Nomad's Touch, should the hit connect and cause him to drop his gun. [@mmarage]
