generally speakin there is two right side players one or both play the setter spot, and the other if you only have one setter is usually a solid hitter and good defense player. the character i was looking to create was a setter, but the other right side can also be a setter, our team would just run a 5-2 defensive set up

also in regards to the ace, if you watch the Show Haikyuu they use it as a term for your top hitter, the person you go to when the chips are down, usually a good server. but if we dont want to have anyone we consider our ace, thats fine aswell. i was just opening it up as a possibility.
