[indent][color=gray]Typical to his clan, Chobara is portly, with a round face and thick, curved eyebrows. He has a silent walk described as "waddling", and a habit of rocking back and forth. His black hair is pulled into a short ponytail, whereas the only other notable traits he has are his "shifty" eyes and fat, stubby fingers that he reports make it difficult to twirl kunai. Though not part of his true [i]appearance[/i], Chobara is seen snacking almost all the time, particularly on foods and sweets that come on convenient sticks. His favorite foods are steamed pork buns, of which he frequently carries several in the crook of his arm at a time like a baby.[/color][/indent]
[b]PERSONALITY & MOTIVATIONS[/b]
[indent][color=gray]To summarize Chobara's personality, the easiest question to ask is "How many friends does Chobara have?" to which the answer would either be "None" or "His pet rat". To his teammates, Chobara is a difficult sort of person to understand -- He is needlessly uncouth, lazy, and ill-tempered. He can easily pick out a person's insecurities and use them as insults, while brushing off fat jokes like water off a duck's back. He's known to steal small things, vandalize [i]large[/i] things, and make a nuisance of himself whenever available. He is a gluttonous loudmouth of the worst sort, held back twice for his attitude and lack of discipline, who seems to feel his most genuine glee when irritating others. To his [i]teachers[/i], Chobara is much more easy to understand -- He is a foul-mouthed brat because he was raised by Oppai Akimichi, a notorious battle-axe of a woman, and because of his father's death in war, and the subsequent loss of a father figure. 

Aside from his most outward traits, there are some remnants of [i]good[/i] in Chobara. He is fiercely competitive, frequently demeaning other teams to inspire his own, and has a strong focus on the success of a group being contingent on each teammate supporting the other. Less well known -- but still just as true -- is that Chobara has an appreciation for taiko drums, soft spot for small rodents, and a strangely advanced grasp of language for a boy his age. Whether his personality including a more artistic silver lining is known to someone, they probably still don't like Chobara.[/color][/indent]

[indent][color=gray]Simply put, the Akimichi clan makes up for what it lacks in riches and esteem with an honored history. In Konoha's wars, the Akimichi have always made a point of volunteering their available men and women before all others, and in Konoha's famines, the Akimichi have always made a point to freely give out rice by the barrel. The Akimichi clan is generally one of the most well-liked, in spite of the japes made for their size -- the Akimichi mingle with mercantile clans when their harvests come to blossom, agricultural clans  while their crops are still growing, and warlike clans when they are called to [i]defend[/i] their crops.[/color][/indent]
