Haas' face sunk more and more as the conversation around the table went on, leaning back and ruffling through his hair with one hand. He racked his brain trying to make sense of all of this. There were a few things that people brought up that nobody seems to have answered, so he figured he'd go through them one by one. "Hmm... the guy's name was Meio, and he's a Light dorm student from what you guys have told me. Even if we don't know how he looks, Light dorm is the least populated dorm for first years like us... so maybe if we found someone using a WATER deck and wearing a Light dorm uniform, that'd be our guy?" Haas asked the group, looking around the cafeteria to see if he spotted someone with a Light dorm uniform. The thing that caught Haas' eye was the duel that had been going on between two Light dorm students. One of them had Neo-Daedalus on the field and neither player had any other cards. The other player's lifepoints were shown next to him, a measly 700. Neo-Daedalus soon called upon a mighty wave and washed out that paltry amount. "...So, uh, maybe it's the guy with the spiky blue hair over there?" Haas commented after witnessing that display. It was a little convenient, but that was a pretty convincing display. The only issue now is that the guy demonstrated him being really strong, so beating him in an Ante match like Hayato suggested seemed unlikely. Now, for the next issue... "Oh, right, Maisy! Errr... I guess you have a point, actually. Our lineup isn't that impressive... but it's better to try, right? Getting the cards honestly would make us better than... err... Steel, was it? Yeah, him." the boy answered. He looked back to the pile of cards again. The most eye-catching one was still just the Xyz monster... Haas briefly looked over to Hayate, wincing at the idea of getting hurt in a duel. He then looked over to Ben, who raised the final issue. With a deep breath, Haas began to speak up again. "I've dueled Andre once, at the entrance exam... he was really good! It'd help to have someone as strong as him on our team, but... you're also right. We don't have much to pull him in. Could we... maybe convince him to help if we dueled him? Though, we wouldn't have much to put up in return..." Haas asked Ben, honestly not believing it himself. In either case, the school bell rang again. It seems classes were going to start back up again. Haas shoved the pile of cards into Nathan's hands for safe-keeping, then jumped up from his chair. "Ah, shoot! Uhm... Let's see what we can do after classes, alright guys?" he told the group, then dashed off with his plate.
Once classes were over, the group had split up. Not everyone could go after Meio, that'd be a bit too suspicious. Instead, everyone had come up with a compromise: Maisy, Nathan and Camryn would try to find Meio and get his cards while the rest would go about their daily life. Nathan, Maisy and Camryn tried thinking of places where Meio could be. They had a few possibilities open to them. He could be in the cafeteria again, or on one of the Arena floors to duel. There were two open at this hour, the ones on floor 11 and 12. Another possibility was his own room, but it could be tough to sneak into the Light dorm again. Seeing as how the guy seemed to love water, the pool on floor 7 might also have been an option. It was fairly unlikely the guy was anywhere else right now. As for the rest, they were all minding their own business. Amelia and Leander had stuck around together after classes and were now chatting it up, while Megan and Joshua were wandering the school to find something to do. Andre, Ben and Michelle were doing their thing and Hayato was locked up in his room, messing with his new Gauntlet-shaped toy. Meanwhile, his sister was hanging out with Haas, who'd been dragged away by force as usual. Down at the entrance of the academy, a certain Light dorm girl was waiting patiently for someone to show up. The receptionist didn't seem to care much, as she was busy talking over the phone. Ethel dressed modestly this time, but still refused to put on her uniform. She was barely showing any skin between her long socks and plaid skirt, just so that Angelo would not get the wrong idea... again. The boy in question soon walked out of the front door, catching Ethel's eye. "Good. You're here," Ethel confirmed. "I heard, about last night. Who is the girl? She knows things. Things about my situation. I need to know more." Ethel explained to Angelo. She didn't waste any time in waiting for his response, walking out of the sliding door and into the desert. She was aiming for the Turbo Dueling arena. "Hurry up," she impatiently called out behind her.
