Cecilia eyes lit up. "You sound a little like Samantha.. though she was more of a take charge sort of woman.. and didn't need me to be confident - though as people started to look up to me, so did she." Slowly she stood up and shrugged lightly. "I never did understand what people saw in me though. Sam said it was this 'undeniable light,' like I was some sort of beacon of hope for everyone.. I don't know, I just did what I thought needed to be done.." Taking a deep breath, she then smiled to Kali, giving her a thoughtful glance. "Regardless.. I am glad it is you who stuck by me thus far. I will do what I can to help you become the warrior that I see you becoming.. there's a lot you can learn from her Cord." She gestured to the bow, implying that the bow could somehow teach Kali techniques of some sort. "For now, let's find an inn.. let you rest." Biting her lips lightly, she turned to lead the way confidently.
In Lakewood, a nearby town..
Cecilia stood in front of the Lion's Den, the only inn the town had to offer, but despite it being in the late afternoon - it seemed to be bustling with activity. Though not overly crowded as one might imagine at night, there was still plenty of talk, that it's sounds floated outside the door. The goddess glanced back to Kali with a soft smile and pushed the door, walking inside the wooden building. Though Cecilia had a presence that was not easily ignored, most of the bystanders could not hope to guess 'what' she was and thus only gave her a few moments of a stare before returning to their conversations. Cecilia was glad for this, never one wanting to draw attention in her modesty, and took a seat near the corner. Though she was certainly of a darker tone than most of the patrons of the tavern, she didn't stand out as much as one might think, leading to the waitress asking her causally what they both wanted to drink - the goddess simply asked for any juice they could find. However, before too long, a fire-hair woman had started to wander over to the pair. She smiled, though it was more of a smirk as she leaned against the back of an empty chair. "Hello ladies.." she began, winking specifically to Cecilia which spurred a blink of surprise from the goddess. "What is a beautiful thing like you doing in this small town?" The redhead wasted no time in inviting herself, sitting right next to the goddess and leaning just slightly in as she reached out to play with a single strand of the goddess' hair. The woman seemed fairly attractive herself, though she dressed more or less like a bard, a flute tied to her waist - and she was not shy. Cecilia on the other hand, even despite her station, flushed softly and pulled back just a bit. "Um.." Her gaze went over to Kali, wandering what the archer would do, almost looking to her for aid. ".. just.. visiting.. looking for work." It would almost be cute, the way Cecilia was beginning to blush, if she didn't also look slightly uncomfortable - though she didn't seem to mind the attention either, giving Kali a few mixed signals. The bard seemed quick on her toes and pulled back, grinning widely. "Oh? I have some work you could do for me.. we'd need to discuss it in private though.. in my room upstairs, if that's not too troubling?" She gave Cecilia a wink, laying one of her arms over the back of her own chair and gently poking Cecilia's own chair.
Thought it'd be fun to include some conflict of the romantic nature! Oh! What will Kali do? An attractive redhead is hitting on her goddess! xD Also, with the bow teaching her techniques, was my way of saying you can come up with whatever you want for it's unique powers outside of magical arrows!
