They had one class together, a required one, and were assigned to be lab partners. Chloe ended up doing all of the work, and quickly grew tired of working with Simone. Her friends would always talk about how Simone picked on them, how she left them to do all of the work in a project. She hated anything that jeopardized her grades, as well as hurt her friends, and Simone met both of those labels. She wasn't exactly sad when Simone died, but she was shocked someone would want to kill her. After all, if they hated her that much, they only had about a week or so left in the same school as her. There was no reason to kill her at that point, Chloe figured. It didn't make sense to her, and it was entirely too gruesome. She hated seeing the corpse fall to the ground, and couldn't help but be horrified by it. She never knew that Simone could be worse in death than in life. History During H.S.:Growing up, Chloe's parents were incredibly demanding. They pushed her towards excellence and perfection, constantly taking her to ballet lessons, self defense classes, and violin lessons. If there was another parent taking their kid to the activity, Chloe was forced to do it. Among all of these other activities, her parents expected her to read "great" novels and keep up with politics, and maintain perfect grades in schools. At the age of three, they decided for her that she would become a surgeon. Of course, Chloe tried to please her parents. She studied as hard as she could, and became a mess whenever she received a lower grade than an A. Forgoing a social life and sleep, Chloe managed to meet her parents expectations at the sacrifice of her sanity, and ended up in therapy for an anxiety disorder in her later high school years. She quit therapy soon after graduating, having been accepted to numerous universities, and while she wanted to go Indiana State, her parents decided for her that Stanford would be the appropriate choice. Given that Riley was her twin sister, Chloe was compared to her quite often. As much as Riley struggled, Chloe succeeded. The pressure on her increased when Riley came out and was kicked out of the home. Chloe was forbidden to have contact with her twin sister, and feeling a need for her parents' continued praise and acceptance, she didn't try to stop them. She hardly spoke with her sister after that, only seeing her wander around the halls. They weren't in the same cliques, and they hardly mixed, with Riley struggling in classes and Chloe trying her hardest to be on top. History Since Graduation:In college, Chloe was a pre-med student at Stanford University. Attempting to graduate with honors and holding an internship at a local hospital, Chloe turned to Aderall and energy drinks in order to be able to stay up and study. However, she quickly became addicted to aderall, and began to frequently use it, even on days with no assignments, no work, and no studying to be done. By her second year in college, Chloe was hooked, and found trouble getting the same sensations with the drug. Falling in with the wrong crowd of people, Chloe began smoking weed, before progressing to heroin and cocaine in her final year of college. She insisted that the drugs were merely to help her focus, and while she did graduate successfully, she was unable to find employment. She lost her focus and her drive, instead spending her days with the comforts of LSD and anything she could get her hands on. Shortly after graduation, Chloe was attending a party with a wealthy politician's daughter. The pair of them left the party in a stolen vehicle and did heroin. They crashed the car, and while they attempted to cover it up, they were too high to do so properly. The police arrested Chloe and the politician's daughter, and due to the political connections, Chloe was sentenced to two years in federal prison, and the politician's daughter was given court mandated community service. Chloe served her time at a minimum security federal prison in California. When she arrived, she was asked what her name was -- but thinking they asked for the day of the week, she replied "Tuesday." Ever since, she's gone by Tuesday. In prison, she mostly kept her nose clean, and attempted to go sober several times. Her job was acting as a courier of sorts to the guards, as she delivered mail to each correctional officer from the mail room. She was sent to solitary once, but beyond that, served her time with her head down. Getting out of jail after serving her two years, Tuesday moved into the cheapest housing she could find in Los Angeles. Unable to find much work, Tuesday now works with a temp agency, unable to do anything with her pre-med knowledge as her LSD usage has essentially banned her from medical practice, as it can cause trips years after being used. Tuesday is only slightly disappointed with the choices she made, but enjoys telling everyone the lies about prison in a certain popular Netflix show. Her parents are unaware that Tuesday is a lesbian, but once she was arrested, they disowned her as well. They didn't want a piece of "druggie filth" ruining the Ridgeway name. The only contact she had with her family was listening to her twin sister's songs when they came on the radio, and when Tuesday received an invitation to attend a reunion, she used one of her several credit cards to afford a flight, and went back to Indiana. A little bit nervous about the rumors that surely must have been flying around town, Tuesday resolved to face her fears, and meet her classmates head-on. And perhaps, she might be able to apologize to her sister. The month in jail had gotten her only anger from her contacts, and most of her contracts dried up. It was time for a fresh start, and she recalled that one of her old friends, Ronni, had moved to Justice. The city was the Murder Capital of the US, but after her experiences in high school, it didn't bother her very much. However, she's hoping to avoid her sister's scrutiny, if at all possible. History Before You Moved In:Growing up, Chloe's parents were incredibly demanding. A serial killer put a slight damper on the mood. However, by the time Tuesday returned to Los Angeles, one of the girls in prison ratted her out. She was arrested and tossed in jail for more drug related charges, but this stint in prison was a far shorter one. Her lawyer was decent, and Tuesday's normal polished appearance helped to persuade the jury. History Since You Moved In: Tuesday's been mostly focusing on getting herself oriented within the city. However, she can't deny the overwhelming feelings of guilt for it. She's been sending in examples of her drawing and writing to various places, whenever those feelings overwhelm her. Perhaps she'll get honest work. The inmates were growing more and more restless as each day passed, and eventually, they organized. They had a riot planned, and managed to execute it almost perfectly, trampling several guards as they fled the prison. Chloe still remembers perfectly one guard, killed in the riot, chasing after them, entirely unhinged. It wasn't until later that she realized he was, indeed, a walker. History Before Outbreak:Growing up, Chloe's parents were incredibly demanding. She attempted to graduate with honors and holding an internship at a local hospital, and she turned to Aderall and energy drinks in order to be able to stay up and study. However, she soon became addicted to the drug. By her second year in college, Chloe was hooked. Falling in with the wrong crowd of people, Chloe began smoking weed, before progressing to heroin and cocaine in her final year of college. She insisted that the drugs were merely to help her focus, and while she did graduate successfully, she lost her focus and her drive, instead spending her days with the comforts of LSD and anything she could get her hands on. Shortly after her college graduation, Chloe was arrested for the use of heroin, as well as auto-theft. Chloe served her time at a minimum security federal prison in California. When she arrived, she was asked what her name was -- but thinking they asked for the day of the week, she replied "Tuesday." Until the outbreak, Chloe always went by that name--Tuesday. In prison, she mostly kept her nose clean, and attempted to go sober several times. She was sent to solitary once, but beyond that, served her time with her head down. Her parents had already disowned her, and unable to muster the courage to go back to medical school, Chloe--still going by Tuesday--fell in with the wrong crowd once again. The only contact she had with her family was listening to her twin sister's songs on the radio, and she spent her time going in and out of prison. Each time, the charges were more serious than the last. History Since Outbreak: Chloe ran back to the relative safety of her kingpin, once she got out of jail. Only problem was, once she arrived at the old headquarters (so to speak), no one was there. Giving in to her craving, she did what little drugs she could find, before recalling that her sister, Riley, was in town. She sent a call to Riley, using a stolen phone, and made arrangements to leave L.A. with her sister. It took some clever sneaking around the city, in order to avoid death from the riots. Once Riley had an established group in the apartment, Chloe--still called Tuesday then--managed to make it there. She arrived practically just in time, the very day that Riley and the group packed up into Riley's car, and fled L.A. before the bombs dropped. Surprisingly enough, there aren't drug dealers hanging around during the apocalypse. Chloe went through a rather painful and agonizing detox process, involving a lot of heart-to-hearts, as well as excessive vomiting. At one stop on their trip east, as they ran into a hostile group, Chloe ended up being left behind, the group assuming that she had died from her illness. No one could have known she was still alive. She played dead until the group left, and as she was entirely alone, Chloe did some hard thinking about her life. She had a keychain with her then, with her prison name on it--Tuesday--that she carried around for good luck. Chloe buried the keychain there, letting go of that old name and that old life. She was ready to be herself again. It was slow moving, but Chloe spent her time initially getting better, and once she was mostly recovered, she went back on the move. She had to find her sister, Riley, and she knew that she had been heading east. Teaching herself how to drive, Chloe used abandoned cars to make her east. She figured that Riley would have been taken in by some larger group, and she knew that her sister would survive, somehow. She's been hoping in cars, abandoning them, looking around, and traveling as best as she can from place to place, all in the hopes of finding her sister. She had spent her entire life before being an idiot, rather than focusing on perhaps the one person in the world who still cared for her. She wasn't going to let an outbreak stop her from finding Riley.
