And then there's Khan. He said it himself, he would never allow harm to come to a student. Why would he just sit there? You could say he doesn't know, but I think he's smart enough to catch on if the second Satori steps up, Alaira starts shrieking in agony. Would he ignore that? Does protecting students only apply to bandits and raiders, the teachers have free reign to abuse the students as they see fit? If so, how does a place as large as this stay functioning? wouldn't that drive students (and their tuition money) away? I feel like that was simply an unintentionally (I hope) mean spirited attempt at a joke, and I'm really sorry to have to rant. I just feel as if the long-term effects of Alaira's part of Satori's demonstration weren't fully considered. Unless Satori is Evil, in which case I guess I understand. I wouldn't have a problem if it were an accident, but I just can't foresee Khan letting her get away with it if it was intentional.
One key thing you might've over looked Free from the IC..is this: How would Khan know about her little problem? Unless I Metagame, something I won't even do to make your PC's life easier, then I doubt she would've told him because of a number of reasons: 1. Alaira doesn't seem like the type to tell anyone of her weaknesses so unless you pm me otherwise, I don't otherwise, 2. Khan is an Esyire, something she hates, and 3. She's only been around the College for a few weeks. Not long enough for him to spot the connection or realize it's not another cause for it. Hell this is likely the only time he's seen her this drunk. To farther my point, Khan won't pry. He doesn't expect his students to tell him everything and won't force them to but he does like to believe the truly terrible stuff they would have. So next time... don't blame my PC for something yours failed to make known in the first place. As for what Satori did. He won't be happy with it, but students have a right to know what theirs and other Bloods are able to do. Not all the range of abilities are going to be good or healthy, and its best they learn it here where Khan and the others can contain the damage rather then in the outside world when they are ignorant. If you were going to have such a problem with the weakness being exploited, then don't have it in the first place, even to just have one.
