Welcome to Viridian Forest; a lush paradise for various Pokemon and a gauntlet for beginner Pokemon trainers. Many a trainer have grown frustrated in these woods, being unable to find the Pokemon they desire/need in order to dominate the Pewter City gym. For those trainers seeking to become entomologists or bug Pokemon trainers, then Viridian Forest is a dream come true. The bug trainers in these woods are a nightmare for other trainers seeking to escape the forest in order to advance in their journey. Only the patient and strong make it out. Welcome to your first dungeon!

After a long day of battles and foiling the plots of Team Rocket, our heroes were able to meet up at a camp in the middle of Viridian Forest. They are able to join a momentary respite as they rest from their first dose of trials...but for how long? There are notes tied to the limbs of trees found throughout the woods where trainers write about their struggles and how they have given up on their journey due to them. Is the forest as hard as they say? What's apparent is, the only way our trainers will be able to heal their Pokemon and enjoy the taste of a restaurant-class meal and a comfy bed is if they make it through the woods.
