[@Klomster] Sounds like fun. Don't go overboard, though. The way I'm going to judge the fairness of the characters is with the question "Would they beat Ialla?". If there's an easy answer to that question, adjustments need to be made.

[@Kenaron] I was thinking traditional high fantasy in terms of races, etc, but no particular setting in mind. There does need to be a reason for the characters to be killing each other, so that narrows things down slightly.
