I hate this mindset. I hate it so much. Why does an entire mechanic have to suffer because a select few cards in it are broken?

Metalfoes/Igknights/Majespecter/Amorphage/Qli(pre towers) and so on were all fine. They didn't break the game, they had their weaknesses to compensate for their strengths and showed what the mechanic was capable of when balanced properly. Just because Konami is dumb and creates cards like Kirin doesn't mean Pends are bad in their entirety.

I fucking hate how Xyz can be splashed in any deck and they're my least favorite mechanic overall, but you don't see me going 'Glad Xyz will be dying!' because the R4NK toolbox is so bloated.

Fuck, the most recent 'top' deck wasn't even a pendulum deck. It was an Xyz deck.
