Haru is a quietly confident creature with a calm composure, but his temper (especially around Asuka), can flare up to some extent. He doesn't drop formalities easily, and is tough on his fellow students to be responsible and disciplined as well. Haru has a very realistic view of the world rather than idealistic. Often busying himself, he can seem somewhat cold with his strict work ethic. However, he's not as rigid and distant as he may first appear; underneath that resilient exterior is a caring student who has a genuine affection for others. His love and respect for his friends may be difficult to see beyond his no-nonsense attitude, but he demands excellence, believing deeply in other people's abilities.

Asuka is no stranger to putting on a show, but where the show ends and where it begins, she is not quite sure. She tends to be somewhat melodramatic in everyday life (to a point where one might find her annoying). This is because she prefers to cover up her own fears and worries. Asuka has a bad time trying to admit when she's scared, and would rather appear as a strong and reliable person who likes to face danger with a brave front. Being an extrovert and an overall cheerful person, she likes to be around people. She does have a stubborn streak and tends to be prideful, but she is exceedingly soft at heart. She forgives very easily, sometimes causing herself to be fooled multiple times, but she truly wants to help everyone. Even so, her stubbornness can lead to problems as she doesn't take orders from others very well.
