Her eyes are grey and tend to reflect as shades of blue in certain lights. She wears the typical clothing of her status for the time and she tends to be somewhat timid as most women were at that time. There is always a jewel strewn across her forehead as part of her status.

Unfortunately, Avand is also somewhat weak, sickly. She has never maintained good health so the family is really counting on a good marriage for Avand or for Aliyeh to rise to the throne in her stead. Her youngest sister is 6 years old, Aysa (beautiful). There are no sons. Her parents are King Farzan (Wise) and Queen Gohar (gem or jewel).
