He is only 160cm (5' 3") tall and weighs 59kg (130lbs). He has big, beady brown eyes and messy brown hair that is a little long on a male, reaching down to about the nape of his neck. Ezekiel wears plates of armor on his uniform that appear metallic for the most part. There are visible strips of blue, yellow, green and magenta along these plates, and the plates that cover the backs of his hands look to be more magenta in particular. He believes himself to be a pretty cool customer, and can potentially come off as overconfident because of that. While he's not afraid to brag about any one single achievement that he's had though, Ezekiel is equally more than happy to back up his bold claims to all the skeptics out there... which he manages to accomplish most of the time. Ezekiel is ever the optimist, always looking on the bright side of things, and staying positive even when something goes awry. What can kill this optimism are very few and far between. However, Ezekiel actually proves to be somewhat clueless on occasion. It's good to see that he knows how to handle his equipment at the very least, but his naivete shows in his shallow understanding of war as a whole. Perhaps if he realized that there was more to it than just killing enemies and keeping himself alive, Ezekiel wouldn't have signed on to be a part of the militia so hastily. In any case, Ezekiel is here to prove his worth as a soldier first and foremost, and he has to grow up a little more in order to accomplish that, then so be it.

Ezekiel Gosling grew up in an orphanage for most of his life. His father, Solomon Gosling, was shot during the First Europan War, leaving his mother, a heterochromatic-eyed Darcsen by the name of Theodosia, to go through her pregnancy with Ezekiel alone. Thankfully, no complications had occured during labor, and Theodosia was able to hold Ezekiel for a brief moment and remarked how much he resembled seeming content. Theodosia did not want to relinquish custody of Ezekiel but, fearing for the both of their safety upon being together, had placed her baby son under the trusted care of her best friend, who happened to run the orphanage that Ezekiel would ultimately grow up in. It was probably a good thing that Ezekiel lacked any obvious signs of his partial Darcsen blood, as between that and the orphaned childrens' general lack of awareness, it saved him from being bullied to no end. In truth, Ezekiel actually proved to be one of the more popular kids at said orphanage. Although he'd sometimes get into trouble with the lady in charge, he felt at home being among the cool kids. At the age of 12, Ezekiel learned more about his father Solomon from an aged gentleman, just as he chanced upon the grave of the fallen soldier in question through a casual stroll through the cemetery. Apparently Solomon owed his alligence to the Atlantic Federation at first, but defected to the Principality of Gallia after saving a "peculiar female Darcsen" from being hunted by some of the Federation's men. The aged gentleman had used Theodosia's features to describe the appearance of the supposed damsel in distress, and due to the wealth of information, Ezekiel was instantly able recall Theodosia as his mother. Since his defection, Solomon had served Gallia as a valued sniper during the First Europan War, but was assassinated at camp by one of the men who he saved Theodosia from. The assassin had cleverly disguised himself in Imperial uniform, preventing the Gallian officials from successfully establishing any link to the Federation. Although he was evidently dismayed about the soldier's death, hearing the aged gentleman's story had ultimately inspired Ezekiel to be just like his father Solomon. Flash forward four years, and imagine his surprise when he'd see his chance to shine. Incidentally, Ezekiel's friends had dared him to try and sign up for the militia, not expecting him to be accepted due to how young he still looked at the time. Not being one to back down from a challenge, Ezekiel confidently strode up to a couple officials and requested to be a part of the militia. Naturally they didn't let him sign up so easily, but he stated that he could handle a gun... and stated it way too confidently for them to turn down. He wasn't wrong; when he and his friends chanced upon an old cache of weapons that would've been used in the First Europan War the year before, Ezekiel was the first to pick up a rifle and take it for a test run and, to the amazement of the friends, happened to be a rather good shot with it. Part of that had to be natural talent that was passed down by Solomon. Realizing the kid's talent with a rifle and seemingly impressed, the officials readily gave Ezekiel the paperwork he'd need to read through and sign. Although Ezekiel was tempted to gloat about his acceptance and rub it in the friends' faces, he decided he'd best keep it a secret from everyone. After all, who knew how the other orphanage goers would react to something as contraversial as being drafted into the militia or accepted as a volunteer?

Combat Information

Class: Sniper Weapons & Equipment: ATR-X1 Anti-Tank Sniper Rifle, Viper-1 Pistol, Ragnaid, Uniform Potentials: Ambush Spotter: Can spot concealed enemies from twice the distance as other soldiers. - "Hmph, nice try..." Competitive: Hates having to admit defeat, raising their firing accuracy. - "Ya feel lucky, punk?" Neutralize: Cannot be countered when attacking. - "They won't even know what hit 'em." Sore Loser: Gets frustrated over missing an enemy, lowering attack power against infantry and armor. - "What th-?! There were plenty of guns and explosives on display, ranging from rifles to machine guns to grenades, and even anti-tank lances. A grizzly man could be seen working on a vehicle radiator out back, while Ezekiel browsed through the rifles to see what took his fancy. The man had a burn scar down a part of his right arm that seemed to originate from the hand, and his right eye had clouded over, leaving it nothing more than a white husk. He appeared to be completely bald up top but, judging by the color of very fine fragments of facial hair enveloping his cheeks, jawline and above his upper lip, he could be identifiable as Darcsen. The man looked up to see Ezekiel still eyeing up several sniper rifles. "We don't make a habit of selling weapons to kids, y'know," he stated, pausing to size the young man before him up down, "So what, you thought you could borrow someone else's uniform just so someone would hand you a free rifle or something?" "Well... ya see, I might have just signed up to the militia yesterday," Ezekiel casually replied to the Darcsen as he was still looking through, "And they might have actually let me through," "Tch, seriously?" the Darcsen queried, shaking his head in his refusal to believe what he just heard, "I hope you know what you're in for." "Hey; I can handle a gun, alright?" Ezekiel finally turned to the grizzly man as he said this, "What more could they possibly want from me?" Of course, the man could've easily given Ezekiel a few pointers if he felt like it, but the heavy sigh he gave indicated that he couldn't really be bothered. Instead, he returned his attention to the radiator he was working on. "Alright fine. Pick something, pay for it and leave," he said as he worked, "I don't want you coming back for a refund." Ezekiel resumed his browsing in relative peace. He lifted one of the rifles off its bracket in order to get a feel for it, noting that this particular one felt significant heavier than what he was used to. The Darcsen looked up momentarily as Ezekiel examined the rifle, one of the newer ATR-X1's that had recently come into stock. "I'd give that one a pass if I were you," he advised, "It's inaccurate as fuck, and you look like you could use something a lil' lighter," "Oh yeah? Why'd you even sell it if it's so hard to use, huh?" Ezekiel asked out curiousity. In turn, the man set his tools down. "Pass it here, kiddo," he replied with a smirk, "I'll show you what it can do..."
