[@Shiny Keldeo]I would not like a reboot all that much. But if we do go the reboot road down could we find a way to keep the things from here somehow relevant?

For example have the events in this be a prophetic dream, calling on the destined. Or maybe it was a dream send by a digimon as a test of abilities so they could find the most relevant humans...or something.

Or something else that would go along with the story. I dont think I would have the motivation to start the interaction with candlemon from the beginning. At least not with the amount of detail I did the first time around...well if you allow me to copy past it...or to do a smaller quicker thing...
