Its commanding officer, Sword-Admiral Orman Nemikar, has evaluated the crisis of Planet Central and determined that one Sicarian warship of cruiser weight or heavier cooperating with allied assets could solve the dilemma. Therefore he has sent the ship on its mission to subjugate the pirate infestation.
Battlefleet Designation: Battlefleet Nemikar Affiliation: Sicarian Stellar Federation Commanding Officer: Sword-Admiral Orman Nemikar Assets:

1x Battleship, Mount Adidal-class
1x Heavy Cruiser, Sea of Stars-class
3x Heavy Cruiser, 'A'-class
3x Heavy Destroyer, Gale-class
9x Medium Destroyer Blizzard-class
Asset Information Mount Adidal-class Battleship: Their imposing hulks gracefully drifting out of shipyards but a mere 10 years ago, the Mount Adidal-class Battleships sport the latest in offensive and defensive systems. These capital ships are easily the most expensive to have come out of slipways in recent years, and are built entirely to withstand the enemy's assault and overcome his defenses. As such, the class bristles with long arrays of energy weaponry and includes a primary, secondary and tertiary battery suite for long, medium and close combat scenarios. Its hull is thick with composite armor and its powerful core supplies the energy needed for sustained combat shields. It features a CIWS suite and extensive command facilities capable of sharing tactical information within its assigned battlefleet in real time. Like other Sicarian capital ship classes, it features no void torpedo weaponry. Sea of Stars-class Heavy Cruiser: The Sea of Stars-class Heavy Cruiser is, for all intents and purposes, obsolete. Slow and ponderous (it was considered swift in its era), its protection is now determined to be lacking for a ship of its size. However, it still sports weaponry that, though slightly dated, is still as devastating as modern systems when they hit - if they hit - the Sea of Stars-class's fire control suite lags behind the snapshot precision and reliability that have been spoiling today's commanders. It should be noted that the Sea of Star's torpedo array is retrofitted to modern standards. 'A'-class Heavy Cruiser: The Treaty of Solvada imposed tonnage limitations on the galaxy's great navies so that their respective Empires would no longer bankrupt themselves pursuing an ever expensive naval arms race, and so that the threat of another Galaxy-wide War would be lessened. The Sicarian naval program, complying with the treaty, therefore created the 'A'-class of Heavy Cruisers to replace the battleship and battlecruiser keels that were being dismantled in drydock. Sleek, modern and strong, they are able to perform their role in the battlefleet with thorough efficiency. They are armed with medium-caliber energy weaponry and a healthy array of void torpedoes. They have decent active and passive defense systems, and a CIWS suite. Gale-class Heavy Destroyer: Light, fast, and with barely any armor, these lesser behemoths nonetheless lord over their smaller cousins. The Gale-class was originally supposed to replace the Blizzard-class as the primary Sicarian destroyer, but the Treaty of Solvada has limited this class so that only 10 can be in active service at any time. As such, the Sicarian Navy has given these ships the role of destroyer flotilla leaders. Substantially better than the smaller ships struggling to catch up in their wake, they are armed with small-caliber energy weaponry and, of course, a Sicarian destroyer's main weapon: a very large array of void torpedoes. The Gale-class is slightly overweight due to the addition of greater CIWS systems in recent retrofits. Blizzard-class Medium Destroyer: The workhorse of the Sicarian Navy, the aging Blizzard class is still an effective platform for its designated role as star destroyer. It can screen heavier ships from attack from enemy light forces with its light energy weapon and heavy torpedo arrays, and is able to contribute to battlefleet protection with its small CIWS batteries.
