Because I have no other choice. I started this, and I alone have to handle it. I am not putting of battles of my own just because of a few mountains in the way. I have to power through and prevail, despite my struggling, otherwise, i really have failed everyone. If i stop kirina now, its a threat they will never see again. I will have accomplished what i never thought i could, and protected them all from near certain death. These poisons in my mind will have to wait.
