Katherin picked up her helmet. She took a deep breath. She had mixed feelings about the simulations. They were good because they allowed them to practice in a realist way without hurting anyone. Which for her was important. She didn't want to hurt anyine. Been there done that didn't want to repeat the experience. But the bad thing was that it wasn't real which meant she could never tell if would hurt someone in the real world or not.

Griffin thought simulations were a waste of time. They gave people false confidence. It is easy to do slmethkng, or not do something,  if you knew that the outcome wasn't real. This training didn't actually tach them anything. But curriculum wasn't up to him. He picked up the helmet and looked wround. Most of the group had paired up. He wasn't bothered by his lack of a partner. He was used to hunting alone.
