[b][color=firebrick]Appearance:[/color][/b] Yuuhei is the kind of guy that is hard to forget once you meet him. While he stands at a meager 5’6” and has an unimpressive build, his sharp amber eyes and ever dramatic expressions tend to stick with people. His unruly mop of dirty blond hair is always at risk of poking his eyes, which desperately need his bulky glasses to be able to make out the fine details of the world around him. When following a lead, he walks as if he is on a mission from god and his trademark lopsided smile is almost always plastered onto his face.

[b][color=firebrick]Personality:[/color][/b] While there are a slew of disparaging words people can use to describe Yuuhei, one that would be universally accepted is determined. Because as soon as Yuuhei catches wind of something interesting, you can be assured that he will stop at nothing to get to the bottom of it. That combined with his upbeat and confident nature and you have a guy that can be rather off putting to some people. But those that put up with his antics and get to know him understand that deep down he can actually be quite considerate and patient despite all of his bustle.  

While his actions often come off as impulsive, Yuuhei is actually quite a calculating individual that tries to get the best outcome of any given situation. He just has an unfortunate penchant for the dramatic and likes to make life as interesting as possible for himself and those unlucky enough to be around him. Not to mention he is all too prone to getting a bad case of tunnel vision should a case be particularly fascinating. A consequence of this trait is that once he loses interest in a subject or a person, he can all too easily drop it in a heartbeat in order to move on to bigger, more interesting things.

[b][color=firebrick]Biography:[/color][/b] Born as the only child to two workaholics, Yuuhei has been a latchkey kid for about as long as he could remember. So while his parents provided him with a life that left him wanting for little, boredom was his constant companion. To combat this, schoolwork and studying became Yuuhei’s primary means of entertainment, with things like friends and romance left completely to the wayside. In fact, it wasn’t until he was enrolled into Uchima High School that the first hints of his current personality emerged.

It was during his entrance ceremony that he heard a couple of kids behind him talking about the odd rumors surrounding the school. And for the first time, Yuuhei felt an overwhelming desire to learn more. It wasn’t long before the socially withdrawn kid was roped into the newspaper club, which was committed to uncovering other interesting stories and occurrences. Studying became less of a priority as Yuuhei came out of his shell and chased down leads with the tenacity and determination of a devil, which would eventually result in his reputation as the Demon from the Newspaper Club.   

It was this determination, and more importantly his results, that led to him taking over as the president of the club. Since then, his animated personality has fleshed out into what it is today, with his friends and contacts spreading across the school. Love him or hate him, many know of the Demon from the Newspaper Club. And if you are interesting at all, you can be certain that he knows about you.
