Andre was on his way back to his dorm, having opted to take the stairs as opposed to the elevator. He could see the things going on on other floors through the windows in the double doors, with most floors either being vacant or having some kind of duel happening. The two arena floors that were open at this time were especially bursting with activity, but a bit too much for his liking. The boy almost didn't pay any attention to the second floor as he passed it by, the theater being something that he hadn't really paid much mind to. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" A sudden scream grabbed Andre's attention, coming from the double doors he was about to walk past. Peering into the window, he could see an Earth dorm student collapsed on the floor. His golden hair was messy and his uniform frazzled while sparks flickered on his body. A metal wire was connected to their academy-licensed Action Duel Disk. The origin from the metal wire was another disk, a solid-vision disk which was black-trimmed and had a straight, red-outlined blade. The owner was a Dark Dorm student standing atop the podium, with short black hair and a fringe that curled around their right eye. The Dark Dorm student had a mocking grin, lips moving to say something Andre couldn't hear behind the door.
Joshua had been spectating a few duels over in the Action Duel arena, killing some time. It was mostly second and third years dueling for whatever reason, shown by the overwhelming amount of red and blue academy blazers. Just as he was about to get up and leave, an Earth dorm student jumped into the seat next to Joshua, coming from behind so he couldn't see it coming. "Bored, aint'cha? I geddit. I am, too, with these clowns stinkin' up the arena. Nuffin' like the great me!" The student was a petite girl, clearly filled with pride as she puffed up her chest. Her cream-coloured hair was slightly frilly and reached all the way down to her hips. If he didn't know any better, Joshua would think she was too young to even be attending this school. "Heeeey, wait a minute! You're Joshua, right? The one who cheated that acrobatics competition?" the girl asked, giving him a mischievous smile. He didn't even get time to answer before she stood up with pride, smashing her fist against her flat chest. "I'm the cream o'da crop, the one at the top! Cream Noel, best of best! I seen you get together with a few peeps here and there, acting all mysterious like. Wassup with that, huh? Looking to worm your way outta the next competition?" she teased again, bowing forward with a playful glint in her eyes. It didn't seem like she was going to leave Joshua alone, even if he tried to exit the arena.
"I don't know Camryn," Ethel curtly answered Angelo, still tapping her foot as he caught up. While on their way to the Turbo arena, she did try to be a bit more friendly compared to how she had been treating him. Whether it was because she'd nicened up or she wanted something from him was yet to be deduced, but the fact remained that Angelo was one of the only people she associated herself with- for better or for worse. The duo eventually found themselves into the arena, entering and briefly waving to Ryder, who was still typing away on that computer of his. "Yo, Angelo!" a voice called from the garage. Jacklyn was carrying her helmet under her arm as she walked out, having just finished a test drive of her Duel Runner. She glanced over at Ethel, who glanced at Angelo in turn. A smirk crept up on the older girl's face. "Sheesh, Angelo! When I said I'd be willin' to help out, I didn't expect ya to come with the girl in tow." Jacklyn teased, but it didn't seem to have the desired effect on Ethel. She stomped forward in anger, catching the blonde off-guard. "What do you know about my accident?" Ethel quickly snapped, getting straight to the point. Jacklyn raised an eyebrow and gave a questioning look at Angelo, as if to ask 'You didn't tell her what I told you?' and then focused back on Ethel. As the two girls had a bit of a back-and-forth, a figure caught Angelo's eyes. They were standing among the Duel Runners, unnoticed by seemingly everyone else. They were clearly an adult, but a purple helmet covered their facial features. They nonchalantly waved at Angelo, unphazed by the entire situation. Angelo then got a text on his D-Ceiver. "Looking for something with your girlfriend?"
