[b][u]Personality:[/u][/b] Kaito is friendly and sociable. Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it, Kaito can be counted on to be there for his friends. He places a lot of trust on people he considers his friends. On the other hand, if someone tricks or deceives him and he finds out... well, you'll have a very angry guy to deal with. For some reason, Kaito is really into all the fighting that happens at the school; he's not afraid to let everyone know about his plan to reach the elusive rank 50, but he has never and will never disclose his reason for it.
[b][u]Backstory:[/u][/b] There isn't much to write about Kaito's life before Shiroyama. He was born to normal parents and succeeded by two average younger sisters. He went to a normal school, had normal friends, and although he had an AED of his own, it never really came out, being left at home for most of the time he had them. That changed when Kaito entered Shiroyama. When he realized how much fighting was going to happen, and how important fighting was to his school life, he was ecstatic. After all, the truth was that Kaito had always wanted to fight. Now that he had a place to do it... a place that actually encouraged it... Kaito's life has never been better.
[b][u]Inherent Engine Skill:[/u][/b] Fuyukaze - Kaito can make a cold wind blow all around him; the radius increases and the temperature decreases the more he focusses on this wind, but doing it too much or for too long tires him out.
[b][u]Active Engine Device:[/u][/b] Fubuki & Kouhyou - A pair of tantou that are cold to the touch. The same wind that Kaito can summon can be whipped around these blades; because of their much smaller surface area the winds around the blades can be much stronger and much colder without tiring Kaito out. Prolonged contact with the blades can also start to freeze whatever it is that is contacting them.
[b][u]Skills:[/u][/b] Kaito has good hand-eye coordination from a near-lifetime of playing video games. He also has great stamina from lots of intense DDR sessions.

[b][u]Personality:[/u][/b] Fumie believes that information is the key to winning in life. Therefore, she'll use any means necessary to get information. This can be as innocent as asking people questions to more underhanded things like spying on people. She is, on the surface, jovial, but while it's not strictly an act, she knows that being friendly can be beneficial in building connections. If she senses that someone puts her mission in jeopardy, she'll do anything not to fail, including throwing other people under the bus. In contrast, Fumie herself is very secretive about her agenda. She gets into a lot of fights... after all, what better way to learn someone's fighting style than to go up against it?
[b][u]Backstory:[/u][/b] If her older brother had known that it wasn't going to be a fair fight, and that his opponent had lackeys waiting to jump him, he wouldn't be in the hospital in a coma right now. That's what ten year-old Fumie thought when a duel went down that did exactly that. Fumie's family wasn't situated in the best of neighborhoods, sure, but her brother had suspected nothing. Now, Fumie goes through life gathering as much information as she can. It's become her mission in life. After all, she can't turn back time and undo what happened to her brother, but she could prevent anyone else (namely herself) from falling for the same trap. Or any other trap, for that matter.
[b][u]Inherent Engine Skill:[/u][/b] Null Attention - Fumie can decrease her conspicuousness, allowing her slip by people and stand around where others won't notice her. This is not the same as invisibility; people will still be able to see her, but will not notice her, or write her off as being insignificant. Although it's possible for others to see through this effect, it takes focus, and anything that breaks said focus can cause them to becomes susceptible to the effect again. This effect does not work through indirect observation (mirrors, security cameras) and cannot foil other systems such as motion tracking or heat seeking.
[b][u]Active Engine Device:[/u][/b] Prism Spear - An ornate spear with a head that contains mirrors within a hollow cavity. By manipulating these mirrors, the spear can amplify light and send blinding light into the eyes of the enemy... or just lasers. The spear itself actually functions as a spear, too, so it can be used for thrusting and stabbing.
[b][u]Skills:[/u][/b] Fumie is a skilled photographer. She is also good at sneaking around and has connections with many students.
