Caractacus
Caractacus was, needless to say, stunned by the production of a living being in the town. He had, if he were to be honest, performed the sweep more as a formality than expecting any survivors. With from the edge of town came a human, being led along by a clearly very docile zombie. The human itself didn't seem particularly displeased by the development, perhaps a bit bemused. "Hey, uh... is this yours?" The man gestured toward Caractacus's undead servant. He was not the slightest bit perturbed! Caractacus took a deep breath, and prepared a response that he hoped would be appropriate. "Yes, it is mine. I am Caractacus, rogue necromancer, foe of the Dark Lord's legion, yet allied to none, I--" Caractacus froze, arms raised as he announced himself, when he heard the sound of struggle and battle. Coming down the street was another living creature, this one carried by a trio of damaged zombies. It was a kobold! A servant of the dark lord, no doubt. It was brought in front of him, still struggling to free itself from its bonds. Caractacus was going to restart his prepared speech when the kobold cut him off with a barked question. "What do you want, damned human?" Flinching away, Caractacus nearly dropped his staff. "Ah! Oh, s-sorry, I er, didn't mean for this, l-let me just..." Kneeling down, he produced his dagger to cut the ropes binding the kobold. "Ahem, I wasn't trying to h-hurt you, I ordered them to find anyone alive in the town." Caractacus stopped, halfway through the ropes. "Wait! You're with the Dark Lord's forces, a-aren't you? A kobold. I s-served with them back when I was...No matter. I n-need your word you won't hurt me. Or, uh, him," He pointed at the other human. "before I cut you free, okay?"
